Memorial Day, May 29 Annual Volunteer Firefighters Pancake Breakfast
The Annual Volunteer Firefighters Pancake Breakfast has become a favorite way to start Memorial Day for the citizens of Mill Valley since we started the tradition in 2000. Corte Madera Ave in front of Mill Valley Fire Station 6 and City Hall is closed off, and we seat up to 2000 people. Breakfast is served from the Engine Room at Station 6, from 7am to 11am.
PANCAKE BREAKFAST: • Pancakes with maple syrup • Scrambled eggs • Chicken-apple sausage links • Hot coffee, provided by Starbucks • Milk, chocolate milk • Orange juice
At the event we have fire helmets and fire badges for the kids. You can purchase Volunteer Fire T-shirts.
RAFFLE: We hold a raffle with prizes donated by local merchants (dinners, bikes, and various services). Get your raffle tickets at the breakfast for $5 each, or 5 for $20. We hold the drawing at our next MVAVF meeting and winners do not have to be present to win.
After breakfast, everyone heads over to the Lytton Square to view the Memorial Day parade!
